About the founder

Built on field experience.
Led with accountability.

Gallego Underground & Civil brings practical underground utility and civil construction experience to projects throughout San Diego County.

Founder & Field Leadership

From working in the field to leading complex construction operations.

Founder Bryan Gallego has more than 11 years of experience documented in his construction résumé, spanning underground wet utilities, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure, and environmental construction. His experience includes field labor and equipment operation as well as supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting project estimates, budgets and schedules.

At Apex Companies LLC, Bryan advanced from construction technician to foreman, overseeing drinking-water, wastewater and stormwater field projects. His responsibilities included mobilization, equipment and materials procurement, quantity planning, water-shutdown coordination, crew assignments, hands-on repairs and documentation for clients.

As a construction superintendent with Engineering/Remediation Resources Group (ERRG), his documented responsibilities included multidisciplinary field execution, project sequencing, safety oversight, subcontractor coordination, estimating support, procurement, contract requirements, and progress reporting.

His background also includes public water and wastewater utility work, including municipal and water-district environments. The company combines this working knowledge with a disciplined approach to project scopes, field conditions, client communication and subcontractor management.

Real work. Clearly attributed.

Portfolio photographs were personally taken by the founder on jobs where he performed fieldwork and led operations. Projects completed for prior employers remain identified as prior professional experience—not contracts performed by Gallego Underground & Civil.
